Alltech's Surestop Kerb Blocker is designed for simple and quick installation and is constructed to withstand harsh environmental conditions. To enhance the blocker's reliability, all the electrical controls and the hydraulic units are remotely sites above ground in the vandal resistant, weatherproof control cabinet. It also features heavy-duty steelwork and solid state inductive proximity switches.

It is an enhanced security traffic barrier, effectively used to protect targeted locations. For controlling access to high security areas like police stations, banks, border posts, cash handling depots, high risk cargo depots, government buildings, airports security areas, embassies etc, as well as for standard risk areas such as car parks, toll road, hotels, hospitals, etc.

The Alltech Surestop Kerb Blocker can be used to control vehicles in either on or two way configurations and is specifically designed to interface with any access control security systems, remote manned operation or open/close vehicle loop detectors. The 'Red' traffic light is illuminated whilst the Surestop Kerb is in its active position. The 'Green' light is only illuminated once the kerb as been fully lowered.
