Alltech's Speedstile panel pedestrian barrier is specially design to accommodate heavy pedestrian traffic. The panels are releases for one cycle (movement to allow on pedestrian entrance/exit) from a number of sources: eg adaptable to large variety of ticked readers, card readers for the security industry, remote controls, coins, key, computer, etc.
The Speedstile barrier is particularly user friendly and is used more frequently in areas such as passenger terminals, sports stadiums and railway stations.

Panel
If there happens to be a power failure the panels may open automatically, but can be specified to remain closed if required for security purposes. The lever arm geometry can be adjusted to allow the panels to open to clock in a closed position. Made from a variety of materials with 20mm clear acrylic as standard and a patterned surface is as option.

Motor
The drive system incorporates a reversing torque motor with a 100% duty cycle and constant torque output. A single lever arm in conjunction with the torque drive mechanism operates the retractable panel
